Bladder cancer survival rates


Bladder cancer is usually curable if it is diagnosed while the cancer is still contained in the bladder, and more than 80% of bladder cancers are diagnosed at this stage. Survival rates decrease as the stage of cancer becomes more advanced and involves lymph nodes or other body organs. The following table lists the stages of bladder cancer and corresponding 5-year survival rates.1
