What should I avoid while receiving abatacept?
Avoid being near with people who have colds, the flu, or other contagious illnesses. Contact your doctor at once if you develop signs of infection.
You should not receive any vaccinations, including flu shots, while you are receiving abatacept. Vaccines may not work as well if you receive them during your treatment with abatacept.
