What should I avoid while taking ibuprofen and oxycodone?


dizzy Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardous activities. Ibuprofen and oxycodone may cause drowsiness or dizziness. If you experience drowsiness or dizziness, avoid these activities.
noalcohol Do not drink alcohol while taking ibuprofen and oxycodone. Alcohol may increase drowsiness or dizziness. Alcohol may also increase the risk of stomach bleeding while taking this medication.

Do not take other prescription or over-the-counter medications that contain ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil, others) while taking ibuprofen and oxycodone without first talking to your doctor.

Drowsiness or dizziness caused by ibuprofen and oxycodone may be increased by the effects of other drugs that cause drowsiness including antidepressants, alcohol, antihistamines, sedatives (used to treat insomnia), pain relievers, anxiety medicines, muscle relaxants, and many others. Tell your doctor about all medicines that you are taking and do not take any medicine without first talking to your doctor.
