What Affects the Test


Reasons you may not be able to have the test or why the results may not be helpful include:

  • Not having the electrodes securely attached to your skin.
  • Moving or talking during the test.
  • Exercising before the test.
  • Being anxious or breathing very deeply or rapidly.
